the boys of 75

cakap-cakap ilman aiman

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we leave 75
we keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same

But when we leave this year some won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if we got something that we need to say
we better say it right now cause we don't have another day

Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And we keep thinking of that night in May
we didn't know much of stress but it came too soon

And there was me and you
And then we got real blue
Stay at home watching Britain's got talent,
And we would get so excited and we'd get so critical
Laughing at ourselves thinking life isn't fair
And this is how it feels

As we go on...we remember
All the times we... had together
And as our lives change... from whatever
We will still be...friends Forever

So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now will our DRAMA still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we do together?
watching tv, going to Stockholm, playing poker?

Will Izad still be a politician man?
Can Ameen find a wife before izad and aiman?
What about Shahid, will he be a paeditrician?
and Nik, an ortho surgeon to be if he doesn't betray man..
as for ilman, catch him if u can...

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end

Will the past be a shadow that will follow us around?
Will these memories fade when we leave this town...

p/s: sorry if some parts don't rhyme as much. but when we speak from the heart, it doesn't have to be.. ececece

H - Haematological disorders (pan-cytopenia)
D - Discoid rash

S - Serositis (pleuritis, pericarditis)
A - Arthritis (non - erosive)
R - Renal disorders (renal casts & proteinuria)
I - Immunological disorders (anti-DNA a/b, anti-sm a/b)
P - Photosensitivity
A - ANA (>95% positive)
N - Neurological disorders (Seizures, psychosis)

p/s: credit to mills. this one is classic !!!

As things are growing close to the end, and as people are going their separate ways, sometimes you forget how wonderful the 5 years have been. Friends are more like families. Brothers and sisters....

and two more exams to go.
It is not far, Sikit saja lagi.. Come on kawan kawan, we can do this. and once its over, a new exciting/scary phase of our lives will unfold.. till then, lets cherish the moments of our last days together...

We can almost see it
That dream we're dreaming but
There's a voice inside our heads saying,
We'll never reach it,
Every step we're taking,
Every move we make feels
Lost with no direction
Our faith is shaking but we
Got to keep trying
Got to keep our heads held high

There's always going to be another mountain
We're always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes we're going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast we get there,
Ain't about whats waiting on the other side
It's the climb

yup, its the climb that matters, not the mountain.

Days of our lives

cakap-cakap shahied

Tomorrow is a new day. A new day to hope, a new day to fight for ur dreams, a new day to correct what u did wrong yesterday, a new day to be better than yesterday, a new day to start a whole new set of other meaningful days, a new day to cherish what you will miss from the yesterdays, a new day.

Yesterday was memory, was history, was regretful, was to be thankful for, was to reminisce about, was out of reach now.
You never can change what happened yesterday, you can never take back what you said yesterday, you can never undo the things you did yesterday, you can only look back... regret, rejoice, reminisce.. Ur choice.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.. U'll be missed. O yeah, Saturday and Sunday too :)

Love this song!
its a song by a Danish band. Danish meaning from Denmark :)
This song was their debut song in 2002 and i must say a good debut it was.
Their songs mostly are very deep and touchy-feely kind of songs. but to me most of them sings the songs of the exposed soul, looking for those elusive answer to our life's adventure.
Other songs from them that i recommend if you like this kind of genre is It's Ok Love, I Surrender, and The Day After Tomorrow.

It fills me up
It feels like living in a dream
It fills me up so I can’t see
The love you keep inside
The love you keep for me

I stay
To watch you fade away
I dream of you tonight
Tomorrow you’ll be gone
It gives me time to stay
To watch you fade away
I dream of you tonight
Tomorrow you’ll be gone
I wish by God you’d stay

I stay awake
I stay awake and watch you breathe
I stay awake and watch you fly
Away into the night
Escaping through a dream...

This is what i call hate mongering. causing panic.

cakap-cakap izadiskandar

this is from their youtube page "Friendofmuslim" <--- how irony is their username. "
Islam will overwhelm Christendom unless Christians recognize the demographic realities, begin reproducing again, and share the gospel with Muslims."

This video is capable to foster division more than u would think. Its disappointingly disheartening.

hate mongering. its just disgusting.

Dear All,
The SU Common Room is open this Saturday 4.30pm-8.30pm to screen the Leinster v Munster Heineken Cup semi-final. Just an idea for students to take a breather from the study.

This message is being circulated this on behalf of the Dr Michael Byrne, Head of Student Health Service.

As we are now at Phase 4 of Swine ‘Flu Pandemic Alert I am forwarding this e-mail for information.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared that the current phase of Pandemic Alert for influenza is Phase 4.

This is being reviewed frequently as the situation changes. This is the fourth highest of 6 levels of alert, and represents

the phase in an outbreak where the sustained Human to Human transmission of a novel or new influenza virus has occurred, and

has caused community level outbreaks.

Further information may be obtained at
www.hpsc.ie/hpsc/

A National telephone information line operated by the HSE is available on 1850 241850

In terms of reducing your risks of contracting or transmitting infection, the following precautionary measures are recommended

· Cover your nose and mouth with disposable tissues when sneezing, coughing, wiping and blowing your nose.

* Use a tissue once only and dispose tissues in the nearest waste bin.
* Wash your hands often with soap and water, and especially after coughing and sneezing. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
* Clean hard surfaces (e.g. door handles) frequently using a normal cleaning product.
* Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
* If you are sick with flu, stay at home to avoid spreading infection to others. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

What are the symptoms of Influenza

· Sudden onset of fever with cough, sore throat, muscle pains, headache, runny nose and possibly vomiting and diarrhoea

What about overseas travel?

· Once Phase 4 (and upwards) level of alert has been declared it is recommended that all non-essential travel to areas affected are deferred.

* Travellers returning from affected areas should observe their personal health and if, within 7 days after return, they experience an illness
like that described above, they should stay at home and immediately contact their GP/Doctor or Student Health Department for further advice.

* The list of affected areas is updated daily on websites listed above.

As the libraries have been packed of late extra study rooms have been organised for anyone who wishes to avail of them - http://www.ucc.ie/en/SIN/education

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Papa 1st MAY.

cakap-cakap izadiskandar

Moga Allah panjangkan umur, murahkan rezeki, agar sihat sentiasa.
Happy 59th Birthday.

Papa, I am astounded, and amazed, always, on how far you've been. From a mere son of a rubber tapper to ruling a government body (regarding rubber! irony) and to where u are now, you have always been my look-up to. I dont think I am half the man you are. From Kampung bakar batu Johor to Univ California & then Manchester Uni, You've leaped over mountains, swam over seas. You saw things that others dont. You make a name of yourself. Kagum.

Happy birthday papa. I know you visit this blog a lot (tapi tak komen). so heres to a long properous HEALTHY life ahead papa. Here! Here!

It is an honour to be your son, always.
Mohd Izad Iskandar bin ABD RAHMAN.

p/s: Sayang papa...
