The month of Syawal has bestowed upon us once again.. and sadly the month of Ramadhan has passed.. lets hope we'll meet again..
Its that time of the year where i generally would look foward to, Hari Raya Puasa.. when i was in Malaysia that is..
However, this has been the 5th year for me and my fellow batch mates celebrating raya in Cork the korok land..haha.
I miss celebrating raya with my family, miss kissing my parents hands in the morning of Syawal, miss hugging my brothers n sisters, miss gathering up with fellow cousins, aunts, uncles, nenek n tok (Alfatihah to arwah atok Ahmad n tokwan Md Zain), i miss the hustle n bustle of the night before raya where all the cooking of rendang and mixing of dodol are done.. watching the little ones running around with illegal fireworks in their hand..i miss going from house to house collecting duit raya, eating till u become borderline hyperglycaemic and hypercholestraemic..hahah..ahh, how i miss the good ol' days of Hari Raya..
5 tahun beraya di perantauan defenitely makes u appreciate more of what u have back home..
this year is extra sad coz my dear Lindat has gone back to Malaysia..
well..u've got to do what u've got to do right?? as of now, i'm still pondering wether to skip hospital tomorrow morning to go for Solat Sunat Aidilfitri..this could be my last raya in Cork mind you..insyaAllah..
haish..enough of yapping.. straight to the point..
i want to wish everyone SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI, MINAL AIDIN WAL FAIZIN.. SEPULUH JARI DISUSUN MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN
